Perform as an instructor in a regular vocational classroom setting. Provide overall direction and leadership to the Nursing Assistant Training Program by providing instruction and training to students in a regular vocational classroom setting presenting instruction in State of Wisconsin approved Nursing Assistant curriculum. Promote a positive and desirable atmosphere, which facilitates optimal student progress. Promote a positive atmosphere within the classroom setting conducive to optimal training, learning, and motivation.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor Degree in Nursing desired.  Registered Nurse Certification required.  Current RN licensure in Wisconsin is required.  Vocational Teacher's Certification preferred. Three years of experience in the field as a Registered Nurse (RN) with three years long term health care experience required. Two years of experience as a Health Occupations Instructor in cluster preferred.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, effective organizational skills, and effective interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in Classroom instruction and curriculum development, and the ability to interpret data and analyze its use within educational programs are also required.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:  A valid Regular Driver's License is required.  Must have or acquire Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. RN Certification State Teacher's Certificate is preferred.

HOURS: Monday through Friday
